Day Break” is my 16 by 20 inch oil painting, inspired by the way complementary colors bring one another to life. Warm orange and gold meet cool lavender and blue above the quiet marsh, then shimmer across the water in textured strokes. I wanted to hold onto the beauty of that fleeting moment—the gentle shift from darkness toward light—and the hope it carries.
